Easter is Only a Few Weeks Away

As I was sitting at my desk thinking about what to write for my blog I was also thinking of my grandsons and what I was going to give them for Easter. I realized that we are now turning Easter into another commercial day like Christmas which is very sad!

I decided to check out Etsy shops and see what they have to really bring home the true reason for Easter.

Here is what I found:

Remember what the True reason is this Easter! It is fine to give the children a little fun and games but they need to be told the rest of the story.

My grandsons will be getting their little Easter bunny treats and a toy but I will be sure to include a little message for my oldest!

It is true...and truly sad that everything has become commercial. Thanks for reminding us all to keep pointing out the real reason for the day to our children.

I feel more and more people are comfortable with their Spiritual side.

Hopefully, this will carry on through their daily lives.

I've been thinking a lot about this, too. The basket of goodies is fun for sure, but it's so important to me that my children understand the reason for the holiday. Thanks so much for another reminder!

It's good to remember why we do things.

Sometimes it almost seems like people have become embarrassed to show spirituality! That pendant is really special.

I really dislike how all of the Christian holidays are now about santa, bunnies, you name it. Great post and great finds!

uniquecozytreasures - glad you are having success with consignment shops and thanks for the info. I really have never much success with them so far. Yeah, you must keep inventory or some items may magically disappear.
